South Africa Permanent Residency - Relative of a Citizen |

A foreign national may be entitled to permanent residency in South Africa if they are a relative of a citizen or permanent resident within the first step of kinship (this includes biological or judicially adopted children or adoptive parents and step parents). The citizen or permanent resident will need to satisfy the Director-General that he or she is able and willing to support and maintain the foreign relative making the application. |
